3 years ago today (2015), the first flight took place of the G500. Although certification is still awaited, the 5 test aircraft continue to build up their hours and are often setting speed records. Leaving Shanghai recently, both the G500 and G600 headed home via Honolulu. The G500 did it a minute quicker than "big sis" and 5 minutes quicker back to Savannah. See
