Round-up 4/6

G280 N980GA (2180) ferried Tel Aviv to Stansted on the 30th. Believe this is the 1000th biz-jet built by IAI. G650 N232G (6365) delivered from Long Beach to Yellowstone the same day. New ERs this period were 6368 and 6373. Been ages since we had a G500 delivery so good to see that N499JB (72031) delivered Savannah to Scottsdale today (4th).
Gulfstream have commenced building their new maintenance hangar at Farnborough and when completed will be the biggest facilty after Savannah. See www.ainonline.com
An unusual visitor (?) to Biggin recently was G280 PR-CRC (2066) which was caught by Westleigh Bushell.

New Biggin Hill resident

G400 M-TELE (1502) arrived at Biggin Hill on delivery to it's new owner this morning. Registered to Arena Aviation, this is the former N710EG/N710EC which I must confess I haven't seen yet. Many thanks for the pic to Andy Patsalides (via Dave Apps)

Recent first visits

There has been a spate of new G650s arriving in London recently. I've been chasing a few myself lately and my results can be found in my new Flickr account. I'm not the only one and I believe these shots are worth displaying. N464GR (6232) arrived at Farnborough yesterday from Paris and was caught by Eric Denison. N426GA (6233) arrived at Biggin Hill yesterday from Fort Lauderdale and was caught by Westleigh Bushell. Consecutive frames too. Many thanks to both for sharing.

1st G650 on the G dash register arrives

Bernie Ecclestone's new G650 G-OMRE (6023) arrived at Biggin Hill in Kent at 09:37 this morning from Savannah via Ronaldsway. Carries "Mystery" titles by the door which might explain why it was originally allocated M-STRY on the Manx register.
