G500 arrives for EBACE

G500 N505GD (72005) arrived at Geneva this evening from Le Bourget to become the first of this type to visit the annual EBACE show. Although a G500 visited Farnborough last year, this is the first one fully fitted out to visit Europe. It was caught by my good friend Westleigh Bushell. Also, see

The G500 flew from Savannah to New York to Paris rather than direct to Geneva to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the first non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic. The G500 set a speed record of 7 hours and 40 minutes compared to Charles Lindbergh who took 33 and a half hours. Appropriately, the G500 averaged Mach 0.90. See
