Superior Interiors

As well as new models being displayed by manufacturers at EBACE in Geneva, there were a number of aircraft on the market looking for buyers. This year, there were 3 in the static park and I was able to go on board them to have a look round. Thanks to the lovely people at Jetcraft and Jet HQ for accommodating me.

EBACE 2018 Report

Just returned from the annual EBACE at Geneva. The full Gulfstream range was on view. Highlight was the arrival of the new G600 making it's European debut. It was caught arriving on the Friday evening by Gilles Brion.

The full line-up was as follows; N280GL G280 (2105), N505GD G500 (72005), N600G G600 (73005), N550GA G550 (5556) and N650GA G650ER (6275). Hard to believe the 550 is the oldest model in the line now.

G500 arrives for EBACE

G500 N505GD (72005) arrived at Geneva this evening from Le Bourget to become the first of this type to visit the annual EBACE show. Although a G500 visited Farnborough last year, this is the first one fully fitted out to visit Europe. It was caught by my good friend Westleigh Bushell. Also, see gulfstreamnews.com

The G500 flew from Savannah to New York to Paris rather than direct to Geneva to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the first non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic. The G500 set a speed record of 7 hours and 40 minutes compared to Charles Lindbergh who took 33 and a half hours. Appropriately, the G500 averaged Mach 0.90. See gulfstreamnews.com
