Round-up 12/12

A little late in posting this today but chasing a Gulfstream this morning. G280 N359GS (2135) ferried Tel Aviv to Stansted on the 7th. G550 N226ZH (5478) was cancelled back to China. Possibly reverting to B-3003? G550 N307GA (6307) ferried to Long Beach on the 11th as GLF64. G650 6278 has just cancelled to Austria and G650 N650GL (6054) has gone to the San Marino register. 6282 now an ER. Another of those "had to be there" moments as G650 9M-ZZZ arrived at Stansted this morning. Round-up 22/8

G450 N617XT (4295) cancelled to San Marino on the 15th. Still waiting to hear new reg. G280 N918GA (2118) cancelled to Austria on the 17th and took up OE-HWM. G650 N1948S delivered Savannah-Bradley-Pittsburgh on the 18th to become the 250th (per my list) G650 to be delivered to a customer. This is for Dick's Sporting Goods as the owner, Richard Stack, founded the company in 1948 (hence the reg). G280 N927GA (2127) ferried Tel Aviv to Stansted on the 20th and then continued westwards the following day (see pic). Looks like the 1st G650 for Flexjet has now been reserved (N650FX 6268).

Also, another G650 from Taiwan has visited Amsterdam. Again, it was caught by Ian Saunders on the 19th. Very envious.

 

Round-up 18/7

Starting today's report with an interesting change of registration. G450 N178SD (4111) was cancelled to Egypt on the 10th. Possibly for the Government? G550 N553GD (5553) was cancelled to Taiwan on the 13th. Awaiting to hear new reg. New G650 G-LLWW did a training flight on the 15th visiting Exeter, Jersey, Biggin Hill and ending up at Bournemouth. The latest G280 ferry flight saw N824GA (2124) arriving at Stansted on the 16th and continuing to Halifax on the 17th. Might add this type to the delivery list soon.

The Sultan's G550 arrives at Stansted

3 years after the Sultan of Johor's G4 arrived at Stansted causing much excitement, his G550 arrived there today for the first time. Due to be upgraded again to a G650 soon, this G550 has been reported as being handed over to the Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) football team next year which will become the first Malaysian team to have their own private jet.  Click to see my arrival shot

1st G650 for the UAE

G650 A6-MAF (6203) arrived at Stansted late last night from Toronto. It was caught by Dave Lythgoe departing to Le Bourget this afternoon. An upgrade from a Falcon 7X which carried the same registration. The United Arab Emirates is now the 32nd different overseas register to have a G650 on it.



Ivory Coast G550

G550 TU-VAE (5533) recently arrived at London Stansted for some maintenance. We expect this will be replacing their old G3. Picture kindly sent to me by Andrew Griffiths.
